Laminate glass on dvr window
Other than the obvious being that it doesn't shatter, anyone know why laminate glass is used on the front side (dvr/passenger) windows?
It is rediculously expensive to replace one of those laminated pieces, and they don't seem to hold up very well to rock chips.
