The C5/C6 are designed/engineered to be track cars (the c5 Z06 being an even more aggressive platform, and the C6 Z06 not even being called to question here), having a fast trap time is just a secondary positive that comes with it. You might run high 12's in one of our 7k# trucks, but put that same truck in a public everyday environment, say stoplight to stoplight or rolling on the freeway (not promoting street racing just an example) and your going to be more concerned with keeping that 7k# sail in one lane rather than looking at the tailights of a vehicle thats thrives under these conditions.
Anyway, I'm sure Pala is already missing that vert.
