Just needed to brag...
Need to put in my 2 cents for mileage. I don't post a lot, but love reading everyone's opinion and have learned a great deal. Keep up the good work.
I decided to go to Indiana to see the grandparents for thanksgiving and wanted to see how bad my mileage would be if I averaged 70-75 mph (2300 rpm's) for 500 miles w/ no load. After hand calculating everything I averaged 19.5 mpg on a totally stock truck w/ stock tires. I was very surprised at this, I normally stay away from the interstate and travel the back roads averaging about 60-65mph and can get 22mpg on average. Figured it would drop significantly going faster but love the results.

I'd love to take just one ride in some of you guy's bombed out trucks to see the difference.
My 5.9 is bone stock and whenever I have a Nissan or Toyato owner in the passenger seat I make a point of having to get on it to make a light or pass and their eyes bug out when they see what the CTD can do! There is a sweet spot in second gear that will keep you pinned to the seat forever!
God bless America.

More power is good!
Now I'm out of warranty and my recirc door decided to break last week, it's time to jump in.
I've always said, if it aint broke.
Now it's broke!
Adding a cold air intake would be a good, cheap start.
I'm hoping the whistle from removing the silencer ring will keep the deer out of my way.
Look out "ricers" here comes 400 + hp!
