silencer ring is so easy. take off the intake tube. in the turbo you will see a snap ring in the front of it. on one side of the snap ring there is a lip that is easy to get a flathead screwdriver onto. pry it up with one screwdriver while taking another one to pop it out. took me longer to find the screwdriver than to take out the ring...

ok just did it i think the silincer tube is just the little white deflector right? or do you have to some how take apart the black plastic piece that has the black grid inside of it? the silincer ring was a piece of cake.
