I wouldn't mind buying new, I suppose. I could afford it, but I'm shopping for a house and that makes a big difference in the house you can find. Even if I WERE to buy new though, I don't want a 6.7 which is why I've kept my searches to strictly used.

I don't know specifics about the previous owner, but it was a local truck that was traded in towards a 6.4 ford a few weeks back. It's supposedly been looked over head to toe, and it's a pretty reputable dealership (well, if there is such a thing!) I'm also not against the 03-05 body style, but I certainly prefer 06+ and the interiors really aren't as bad in person as photos make them out to be.

Today should hopefully be a short day and if I get home before the sun sets I'm gonna try to go look at it again.

That is an awesome truck for 22.5K. Miles are decent, and the 06 is a great year if you like them (I do). The high idle is automatically engaged from the factory programming. My truck does it whenever it is cold and sits for over a minute. I cannot engage the high idle on my own, it was never enabled. Anyhow, I think you have a good truck there. A year ago, you wouldn't have touched that truck for less than 25K. Hope you get it. Scotty

I think I'll be going to look at it again today. With the holidays coming I find myself wishing I found this in 3 weeks instead, but maybe it's time to give myself a gift too?!?! I'll keep you guys updated, but man I really wanna make this one work...

The only thing that's wrong with that truck at that price is it's black. But then, I'm lazy.
