Just Another Possible Blend Door Question

My 2006 Megacab heater fan recently started making a loud noise and vibrating on high or one setting down. It is drawing air in from the outside on both fresh and recirc settings so I believe that door to be broken. I haven't had time to remove the glovebox and look though to verify. Has anyone's system made a super loud noise and vibrated due to the doors breaking?

The blend door controls the air temperature. What you describe sounds like a broken recirc door that is laying on top of the blower motor intake. Drop the blower motor (3 screws) and if that's the case, you'll see the broken recirc door laying there.

Ask me how I know.......
