My dealer quoted a price of $1,365.00 not installed but could not get it. I went to the Cummins shop and they could not get it for the 05 either. It was due to be re-released on 12-15-04 but never made it. I chose the Pac Brake as I had positive experience with it on my 99. Worked flawlessly. Pac Brake works well on my 05 also.

Just read that Jacobs e-brakes are now available for 04.5 and up again. Mine was $1069 plus 300 install. Don't think you'll find them much cheaper since the kit now includes a vacuum pump.

My dealer's price was $1250 installed when the first ones were available for the 3rd gens, I think it was December, '02. Luckily I got in on an incentive for $250 installed. YEH

Bob, How do you like the jacobs. How high do you need to keep the RPM's to get effective braking. I've been trying to decide between the pacbrake and jake and need something to push me one way or the other.
