Interior trim

My new truck has some obnoxious looking silver trim pieces. One on each front door and on the dash surrounding the radio and two center A/C vents. I like the burled wood look. Are these pieces available OEM in wood grain? If not can you recommend an aftermarket outfitter? Thanks.

I don't know if the 07 interior is the same as 06 or 05, but . . . if you could find someone to swap with, I'd suggest that.

I have the faux-wood and I hate it. If you were nearby, I'd offer to meet up and just swap interior parts!
I'd rather have black inserts in the grey interior pieces.

Someone on the forum has detailed a method for removing those trim pieces, and re-painting them and then re-installing with screws.

As for aftermarket options: I think it's just stick-on overlay stuff.

Post any pics if you decide to do this mod. I'm interested in the wood finish. I have the same finish as you in my 07 and my friends actually like the look. I wish I could just see a variety of finishes in person instead of internet pics.
