Insurance on the 2500 vs 3500

Re:Insurance on the 2500 vs 3500
I'll look at USAA.
You know what is weird!
With the dodge as the only vehicle I get a good rate with am-fam.
After I add my other car (sports car) as a recreational only car with the truck as a primary and the ins on the truck almost doubles. :'(
Time to sell the car huh?
It goes to
$1354.60
Just for the dodge Per 6 when I add the car.
From
$734.10 for just the truck alone per 6. ;D
No more sports car.
I'm tired of getting pulled over nearly daily just b/c they think it might be hot anyway.

Re:Insurance on the 2500 vs 3500
I have nationwide and call but didnt have a vin and told her I was lookin to trade for a 3500 and she could pull much up without a vin. She did say the 3500 had a rating of 18 to 21 and my current truck is a 17. She gave the 21 pricing and it was $580 every 6 months. I gonna call back with a vin and see what it will be.

Not that bad.
I did'nt realize that owning a sc as a personal toy only car could impact your work car rates like the quotes I got today.
If I ever buy another sports car I'm bringing my own lube to the insurance agents office.

LOL...isn't that the truth. I have owned two Mazda RX7 in the past when I had Geico and they nailed me with a "performance auto" surcharge. I haven't looked back once since I got rid of the sports cars.

Its a Eclipse GSX AWD turbo. Red of course with a 5 spd and more hours into the engine, turbo and IC than I can remember. I'll run it at the track once for a time slip then sell it.
Don't get me going about rotory engines.
Mmm four rotor... one igniton event per 90 degrees of flywheel rotation.....
