Installed radio, problems now with keyless entry, door locks, and headlight

Well anyways, this is the second head unit I'm putting into my truck, and the first install went pretty smoothly. Now onto this one.

Well anyways first and foremost the radio works.

Now I used to be able to turn my headlights on when the key was out of the ignition. Now I need the key in the ignition for them to turn on. Now once I get them started, and turn the key to the warm up position the needles jump to 60mph and back down again.

Then my keyless entry does not work, and none of the door locks will open or close.

What install harness are you using? I used a Metra in my 06 mega cab last week and have no issues. It is the harness that has a little box inline and requires no splicing to get switched 12v power. I hooked the batteries up and was good2go. Have you checked ALL fuses?

Have not yet checked the fuses. I used the supplied harness by Pioneer. My old headunit I used that harness that has the little box in it with a fuse within that box. I think I might need to re-use that. And I did a good amount of splicing so I think I might have messed something up along the way maybe.

Here's my issue now.

Fuses all look good.

My issue is possibly with wiring.

You have your ignition switch 12v source (red)
Then you have you contstant 12v wires (yellow)

Volt meter reads 12v from the red only when ignition is turned on (correct).

I can never get a 12v source from the yellow wires. I don't understand

I would 2nd the opinion that you have hacked into the can bus. I think you are best off buying the appropriate adapter.
