had 2 trucks stolen, and mega bucks spent on alarms and fuel cuts, column locks etc, doesn't stop a good thief, thats for 100% sure. if they want it, they will take it, plain and simple.
i do how ever like the feature, as it does stop kids that joy ride and wreck stuff for fun.
to me this is not a means of fun.

Agree, if they have the time to get a wrecker. However, most thieves don't have the time. Anything that will slow them down will prevent most theft, however, you are right, IF they REALLY want it, and IF they have enough time, they will take it.

I don't know what that chip is like but can you epoxy it to the head of the key after removing the rubber part?
