Incentives ?
Do you think the incentives on a new truck will get better befor the end of year or after the end of year on a 5.9? I guess they could stay the same. Just trying to decide if and when to jump.

I don't think the rebates will get any better this month. Just be warned that I've already replied back to a previous post saying that the rebates would not get any better from Nov to Dec and they went up $500 !
I still think the rebates will get better once the 6.7's come out just b/c the general public will want the newer 'model' (bigger engine MUST be better right??). Then again, bought my truck on the last day of November b/c I didn't think the gamble was worth it. Whatever you do, buy on the last day or two of the month. Let us know what you decide!

gsegelk, you are correct about the day of purchase, I have a "friend" she works at a large dealer here in Fl. The rule of thumb is the last day or the first two days of the following month. All 5 star dealers need to meet a quota, so they will take a hit on a truck, because they will still make there money reguardless of selling price from DC. Here is a example my 2004.5 was purchased on Nov. 1, I was already told by the girl they were 50 under the total, so I bought a truck with a 39,000 window sticker for 26,000. The girl later told me the dealer took a 6000 dollar hit on the truck.
The reason I said the first two days of the following month is the dealer will fudge the sell date. Also she said if I has waited for her she would would have gotten me a sweeter deal, but you know guys like to pull the trigger.
