I want clean windows

What do you guys use to clean your windows?

I get tired of the white haze that I always seem to get after I clean mine. Someone was telling me that it was off-gassing from the plastics in the cab. Anyone else ever heard of the off-gassing thing?

I've tried Stoners,Windex, and a glass cleaner that was from Eagle 1. They look clean for a week, but then look like crap again.

Try using regular old newspaper instead of paper towels or towels. If that doesn't work try just using a damp rag, followed by a dry one.

I found that the foam stuff works better than the liquid stuff...

The stuff I get comes from the dollar store...

It's like $3 bucks

I just wipe mine with a wet chamois and then wipe it dry with a towel. Works for me. Newspaper works too but I have no idea why....l

Because newspaper is thirsty for something with substance and water is far more promising than what they print in them.

If you want clean windows, use a micro-fibre cloth and clean warm water. I usually, get the better half to do this, that way I get no complaints.

I use the eagle 1 in the areosal can and a micro fiber towel and that seems to get the windows pretty clean. Plus if you have you windows tinted with after market tint DON'T use Windex or any glass clean like it. Use the Eagle 1, it is tint safe, the Windex type cleaners will make the tint turn purple. Actually happend to a friend of mine and the tint shop I had my truck done at strongly recomended not using windex for the same reason.

Whoa, I would use a clay bar for the outside of the windows, then wax them afterwords.

Duragloss glass cleaner will get all the hard mineral deposits on outside, I would only use soap and warm water on inside and microfiber towel as someone suggested.

I've used the super fine steel wool to clean my house windows that were caked with calcium/I don't know what deposits after being sprayed by my irrigation system all summer long. It worked great, and did what CLR/Windex/White Vinegar/Polish/Car detail cleaner/clay bar could not.

Thanks for that good idea. I haven't had any luck removing the same from my windows at home after sprinkler spraying. I've tried the chemicals to no avial. Those deposits are tough. I'll have to try the super fine steel wool.

Where do you get it?
