I Pod/ Mp4 ?

Is the factory radio equipped with a usb type connection under the dash? If not, is it hard to get it put in?

Depends on your options. If you have the factory Infinity stereo without the 6 CD changer, you can buy a device from PAC that plugs into the rear of the factory head unit into the CD changer plug. If you have the changer, the only real option is an aftermarket head unit. That project comes with its own set of headaches, but can be done. I have an 04.5 that I replaced the factory H/U with a 7" flip out screen. You need a canbus interface to make this work with the Infinity amp. Final verdict, I'm happy with it, but will eventually replace all of the Infinity stuff with aftermarket.

I have the single disc unit. Does this mean I would have to get a new unit?

I don't belive so. In fact, i think that is the preference for the plug ins. I would expect that the factory unit in a Laramie would have the CD changer input plug which these tend to plug into.

The PAC site shows these guys as a local distributor for you. I would give them a call. Looking at the site there appears to be a few ways to go.

If your unit has a disc up arrow on the #1 memory button it has the plug in for the multi disc changer. I have the PAC unit in mine. Easy install and works great.

05 is right, they do produce quality sound. There are some drawbacks, however. Once your ipod is sync'ed, you lose manual control of it and have to use the H/U to control the ipod. Annoyance is you have to rename your playlists to a convention that the PAC recognizes and you can't see the song info. on the head unit display. If you are ok with that, give it a try. I was satisfied for about 3 months, then replaced the head unit.

With mine setting on Disc 6 gives full manual control of Ipod as well as the controls from H/U. True info doesn't display on H/U and play lists must be named CHR1 thru CHR4 which play when set on disc 1-4. Disc 5 continues from where the Ipod was last stopped.
