i need answers pdc or fcm?
i brought the truck in today for my trailer brake lamp out.
they tell me i need a fcm ,now from what i read here is that its a pdc
i just want my brake light to work
i looked online to see if i can fix myself for cheaper and cannot locate either part so what do i look for? or does anyone know where i can find one for cheaper then the $500 they want to charge
thanks in advance

The FCM is the silver box attached to the front of the PDC. I can't tell you with out testing which one could be bad. You can't put a used FCM in, if you want to try a used part, you can only replace the PDC part. The FCM must be new or remanufactured.
