i have a problem, a sagging problem
I hate to admit this , but i sag. My rearend sits just a little lower than my front end when my truck has an empty bed. When i have a load in the bed the sagging gets really bad. This is very embarasing and i hope the forum does not think less of me. I have been inquiring about fixes for this, airbags, add a leaf's, overload springs, and so forth. Here is the deal, i have a small suspension lift on this truck, it has procomp shocks. I am leaning toward the overload springs, I am hoping that the overloads will add a leaf to my springs, which will fix my sag when empty. And help keep the sagging at a minimum when i have a load in the rear "which is an almost every day thing" here is a link to a picture of my trucks rear suspension. Can you great guru's of all that is truckish, look and tell me if i can add the overloads, and will they raise the rear end? I will post this in the suspension forum also if their is one.
here is the pic.

I put the 100psi Firestone airbags in mine, measured with a full fuel tank, sliptank (115US gallons) and tool box,...@0psi the rear droops about 2"s, 50psi raises the rear about 6"s and with 15psi it sits nice and level (equal to the front)
Pictured with a full load and 15 psi in the bags...

I don't see where the lift component is. Is it shackles? I love my bags but I also thought about having a spring shop re-arch my oem springs. I went with bags for the flexability. More arch in the springs would be nice to keep from hitting the ride-wrecking bottom OLs so easily. I sawed the ends off my bottom OLs today - I don't need them with the bags. It also looks like your u bolts are long enough to add another spacer at the bottom. Craig
