Now I have been in contact with DC with this truck from the other issues I've had with it and have a case number.

Well, got off the phone with the head honcho at DC. This guy was pretty rude on the phone, short with me and would cut me off. But, I kept my cool, cause they started paper work on doin a buy back or replace me with another vehicle. So we will see what happens. About the dealership I have been dealing with, they told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong. DC calls them and ask what is going on and then I get a call from the DC head honcho about starting this paper work. Sounds to me like the dealership is trying to hide something from me.

2nd update
The dealership calls me, of course after I made a few attempts to get in touch with the Service Manager. The Manager at the dealer tells me that my tranny is good and that the codes that were read was for the fan clutch, the waste-gate, and something about a coolant sensor. Anyway he tells me they are trying to figure it out. I told him, Well DC will be getting in contact with you about a buy back or replacement vehicle. He got quite on the phone so, lets see what this brings. I'll keep ya'll update.

Good luck with the buy back process. But when they did mine, it actually went pretty smoothly. They gave me a few days to decide if I wanted a check or a new truck. It's a hassle to get there, but once they decide to cut their losses, they seem to want to get it overwith as quickly as possible.

I wouldn't wait too long, might even call DC back on Monday and tell them you expect an answer by the end of the week. Let them know you are a Marine serving your Country and about to transfer out of state and you want a new truck before you leave.
If he decides to get rude with you again, be ready with the name/Channel number of the local TV Network guy that helps out folks that are getting ripped off by businesses.
