Cool I am now the proud owner of a 1 ton pick up

Hello to everyone I am new to the diesel world, about 2 weeks ago I picked up my 2004 dodge ram dually with only 42,500 miles.... I couldn't believe it either. But looking and giving up on my search I finally found her...she a beauty.. Hope to make good friends that are experienced with this beast as I am new to this I may have many questions.. Sure glad I can be a part of this cool site!

While am here am thinking of setting my truck on 22.5 alcoa wheels with the continental hdr tires anyone have any history with this tires.. Would like to get your input thanks

FYI, your 2004 would be considered a 3rd Gen truck, this section is for 2010+ trucks.

Congrats on the purchase, I don't know much about 22.5 though.

Welcome aboard....as far as engine questions/etc.... check in the 3rd gen 5.9 area...but for other stuff who's picky Alcoa's with 22.5's are awesome...expensive but the tires last forever (I've had basically 2 trucks like the one you have and they both chewed through front tires like nobody's business...always wanted to upgrade to the 22.5's).

Welcome and don't worry about mistakes of the wrong section. The administrators are great human beings and most of the users are a great bunch with a wealth of experiance with theses trucks. Fire away!

Nice find!
I found the same situation. Last June I found an '05 dually with only 26,000 miles on it! I couldn't believe my luck either.
Enjoy your "new" truck.
