HVAC problem
no problems with heat, A/C or Blower however...
Air blows out dash vents only, no matter where I position the control. Turning the control **** all the way counter clockwise does activate recirculation but does not change the airflow.
Turning the **** to defrost also does not change the flow from the dash vents but allows enough air out the defrost vents to defrost only a small area of the windshield directly above the vents.
Looking for ideas before I start opening things up....

HeaterTreater.net will be your best friend at this point. You CAN'T break their doors. To do it RIGHT......the dash has to be pulled and the HVAC case seperated. Had the exact same problem with mine a few years back. The new doors have worked flawlessly ever since.

I was in fixing the HVAC door when I saw this popped out. I pressed it back in and now EVERYTHING works. The metal arm was still attached but the black piece that rotates with the white thingamajiggy was off. Hopefully it will all stay together.
I'm getting pretty good at taking the dash apart. If Dodge ever needs a skilled technicion, one that specializes in removing HVAC modules without breaking too many snaps, plugs and fasteners, I'm their man. What a useless skill.
Anyhoo, it may save some people from replacing the blend door if this is all that's wrong.
