How do you remove the center panel on the dash of an '07
Hey everyone, it's been a long time since i've been on here!
Anyways, I just traded my 2000 for a '07 and I want to remove the center panel around the radio on the dash so I can install a CB in the storage compartment below the radio. I don't want to pry and pull and break something so whats the procedure for taking the panel off?
Thanks!
Rat
By the way: 200,000 miles on my 2000 and I never had a problem!

Nevermind, I figured it out! If anyone else wants to know, start at the bottom and work your way up.
1. Take the cupholder lining out, and the 4wd boot off, then unbolt the 4 bolts holding the rear half of the center console down and pull the console out.
2.Take the two bolts holding the front half of the console out and pull back on it then lift it out.
3. Unscrew the two screws uncovered by the console and pull down on the front panel that the screws were holding onto.
4. Locate the two screws that are screwed up into the bottom of the center panel that houses the radio and unscrew those, then it pulls right off!
Confused yet?? Me too!

Dont install the 2 screws under the bottom of the bezel and you wil be able to remove the bezel whenever you want without taking the center console apart again, the bezel clips are VERY strong.
Show us pics of the CB all done!!!
