How to disable headlights when unlocking doors with key fob?

Anyone know how to disable the headlights when unlocking the doors with the key fob? After my ecm was flashed a while back they have been coming on when the doors are unlocked - i really dont like this. I can make the horn honk or not, etc., but not sure about shutting off the headlights. Anyone got a fix for this?

I hated the horn and got rid of that, but couldnt find anything to get rid of the lights, good luck, maybe some else has figured it out.

Played with the starscan a while back, but didn't find how to turn off the headlights. Didn't spend a bunch of time with it, though. Are you absolutely sure it can be done with the scan tool?

Isn't that the lighted approach setting in the EVIC?

I don't know about you guys, but I like the feature. It's to protect me from zombies.

My headlights don't come on, just the clearance lights and markers. I'd like to know how to disable those too! Same with when the remote start comes on, just the markers. Maybe because being a Canadian model it has daytime running lights?

See attached from my 06 owner's manual. Regarding the head lights, IIRC there was a yellow insert in my manual that had directions on how to get rid of the head lights coming on. I'll have to check and get back to you, but it will be next week before I can do so. My head lights do not come on.

Guess my memory is fading as I get older

Here is the addendum that was included inside my owner's manual.
