mine's ('07) still chirpy too
I would like to disable the horn chirp on lock feature. I can not get this feature to dissable after many attempts and following instructions to the tee.
Before I take this in to the dealer (yuk), is there anything else I can try?
This is very annoying to me and to my neighbors.
Love the truck. Hate the horn chirp.

I had a similar problem trying to program the doors to not lock automatically. Tried & tried with no luck and finally turned the key over (so the split ring is on top) and it worked!
Might be worth a try………..

Update,
While in the mountains cutting firewood,I went to move the truck with the door open, and the horn made one short chirp. After playing around, with the door open and in drive, I managed to get the horn to chirp, only with my foot on the accelerator and just a short burst, no sirens. If I just let it idle and roll no horn, touch the accelerator and chirp.
Has anyone else had their 07 reprogramed from the dealer to stop the horn from chirping when securing the truck and experiencing what I am experiencing? or is this just a fluke?

Hi everyone, New guy here. Just bought my 07 3500 QC dually on monday and so far just love it. Got real tired of the horn chirp when I locked it up but nothing I did, from the manual worked. Went to the dealer and took them all of five minutes to disarm it which was a great relief. Great forum learned a lot from you prior to buying the truck.
