HO coming to Calif. very soon?

I read on another forum Dodge stopped prod. of the 04's on 11-21-03. They are supposedly going to there egr 50 state legal 325hp / 600 ftlbs. motor ;D, Good for us Calif. residents.
If this is true I will be ordering mine shortly. With probaly no rebates ? Any dealer rep.'s seen e-mails talking about this or any other info.?

I have heard the same thing, so chatted with the Cummins NW rep at the AG show on Tuesday. If it is on the way, it is a well kept secret.

Talked to a dealer in Sacramento, Ca. He said I could order a 2004 Dodge truck with the HO engine.

I've been trying to get an HO for 3mo. My local dealer sent me a letter 2 weeks ago and said we might be able to order after the 15th. Well the 15th has come and gone. Have not heard from him again. ???

Talked with the Dealer in Auborn yesterday about the HO diesel engine. "Yes they will be available, but probably not for a couple of months". Also, the 3500 truck is available with single rear wheels OR duallies.

I'll go hit a couple of dealers in my area and see what they know or leak out. I can wait 2 months to get it if I order it in the next 2 weeks or so , but I can't wait 2 months to order it then wait. My truck is sold to a friend in 2 weeks. I don't want to drive the chevy loaner that long......... :

As I am ready to buy a new Dodge as soon as the HO engine is available, e-mail when you find anything out and I'll do the same.

Re:HO coming to Calif. very soon?

I went to one dealer today and he said yes the HO is coming to cali. He thought it was the same one they have in the other states, I told him what I read about the 325/600 deal and he said you probaley know more than me . I told him I am ready to order if they can sell for invoice, He said most dealers will add about $5000. to it since it is new. I told him I will find someone to order it for invoice or find a dealer on the net if I have to. He had that beaten down look and said he would call me when he could order them. He got on his computer while I was there and no ordering / pricing info availible yet. He thinks they will be able to any day though.
I'll keep you posted.

That is great news, do you know if you still get the rebate when you order it with the new motor? Are they close to invoice on price? I am also ready to buy, but I was told I can't order until the first of the year .
thanks

Hello
Yes, the rebate will stay in effect. The amount of the rebate will be what ever is being offered at the time of delivery of the new truck. The dealer is selling for about $3000 below the MSP price. Keep in touch.
Dick
