I got in my truck this morning and I heard this high pitch hum. The only thing on was the cab lights and the key was not in the ignition. The hum sound like it's coming from the center console. I turned on and off every switch I could think off, and set the Quad to 0. I didn't have time to troubleshoot anymore since I had to catch a Amtrak to New York, so I started it and drove off. It drove fine, but the hum never went away. Played around with the ac, vents, radio, quad, .. no results.

Any suggestions?

I won't be able to try anything until I get back to DC later tonight and may not be able to reply to any response since my signal may be on and off.

Stupid me . got home.. my wife got in the truck and her hearing must be way better than mine, but she zeroed in on the hum... it was a pedometer with a bad battery hanging on my visor. I feel very.

I was stressing out thing about what was breaking.. what a relief...
