308,xxx and counting on my 04. Did the clutch, injectors, and front end at 220K. On my second set of brake pads, original rotors. Third water pump but the second one leaked pretty quickly. I put bearings and brushes in the Alternator, and disassembled, cleaned and lubed the starter.

I just did a third gear launch out front and buried my neighbor in tire (white) and exhaust (black) smoke while he was standing at his mailbox. He thinks I like him but he has a picture of Obama on his refrigerator.

Mighty Whitey has been the best vehicle I have ever owned!

Rtillery, that's an awesome track record. Sorry about your neighbor's offensive pictures..that's right down there with kiddie **** in my book

That's amazing brake life...do you downshift a lot and use an EB or what's your secret? What pads did you use? I got 105k out of my factory pads/rotors, but anything the dealer has installed has lasted 20-40k.

I seldom downshift to slow down, and often kick it into neutral to coming to a light. But, I have a confession to make. My OE brakes were getting down there at a little over 160k and I replaced them with Wagner Thermoquiets. When I did the front end at 220k and had everything apart, I put on a new set of TQs on the front. There was still a fair amount of life on them but I was in there. I guess I am on 2 1/2 set of brakes. A lot of my driving here in the Rocky Mountains is highway miles. Your mileage may vary.

My Mega had 395k on it when it left. G56 was it's BIGGEST issue and I can 100% say I would never own a G56 truck again. Only other major issues would be 5 injectors, and a complete front end rebuild. Over the life of the truck it cost me about $16000 in repair and maintenance.

My current truck (which I just got) has 272k on it. 2007 cab and chassis with the Aisin.

90,xxx on my 07. I ask my self all the time why I have her because she never pulls anything more than a 4-wheeler. She is my daily driver. She makes me smile to hear her pur though I have thought recently of trading her off for a gasser but I know I will regret it if I do. It is a very hard call.

I hear you. I sold the boat I used to tow with the truck, sold the big flatbed trailer, and now all it tows are 4wheelers, jetskis, or sleds. It's my daily driver all winter long, and by spring time, I'm definitely tired of driving it (even tho I love it and wont part with it). When the weather isn't bad, my go-to is the jetta tdi...still has a nice purr and fun to tinker with/easy to work on, but so much easier to park and whip around, way more comfortable, and I knocked down 46.2mpg last tank. My year tdi's are available now for 5-10 grand..fully loaded 2012's are like 27k. Food for thought... I don't want to take the thread too off topic.

LETS GET BACK TO MILLAGE!! I just turned 171k on my truck..but soon will be towing from OH to FL and back..that'll rack up a few and burn off a little carbon!

You think that's bad? My 04 has 76k on it... I MIGHT drive it twice a month I only keep it because it's paid for, and I love driving it when I do actually get to drive it, but diesel fuel with my commute would kill me. I think I'll drive it tommorow just for the heck of it.
