HID wiring question
I recent acquired an HID kit and "Nightrunner" set as a consolation prize. The wiring is pretty straight forward except for one thing.
I'm trying to figure out (with out one of those expensive 12V test lights...) which wires to the factory high/low plug run the highs and lows. There are three wires, black (ground), white with blue and white with green. I'm assuming he had them tied in there, being as the wires from the harness have spade connectors that were hear shrunk.
My HID kit has three wires to the relays that appear to power the ballast boxes, Black, White and Blue. (again, assuming that black is ground). This part I can figure out I suppose, but if anyone has recently wired a set, maybe they would remember.
I don't know the brand name of the kit, looks pretty heavy duty.
Thanks in advance.

Okay,
Moving on, does it matter what your resistor looks like? I picked some up from Radio Shack that look like something that should be soldered on a radio.
Are they wrong,.....does it matter?

Okay, okay, not all at once now!
Heres the deal, I wired up the HIDS, didn't put in a resistor to fake the truck.
What would be the dummy lights on the dash? I'm getting a BRAKE light and ABS light at the same time......
I was under the impression it would be a whole other indicator?
