I agree the price is too high, but, despite what you think us dealers do not make $6,000-$8,000 profit on a used vehicle as you are suggesting. If you can get $2,000-$3,000 that is considered awesome, and even those don't happen too often.

It's the end of the year, find you an 06. The dealers will be scrambling to get rid of them and will likely put you in that new rig for that same pricepoint. Consider this, if by the time you pay for a warranty for this used truck, it comes close to what the new one would cost, go new....I bought my 06 for $36k a month ago and have seen some post recently that they got an even better deal at about $32k (Both prices OTD)....Good luck

Thanks for the help guys. I passed on it. If i decide to go with the dodge i will get a new one for 32k. From what i gather if i can get green sheet pricing and the 5500 dealer cash i should be set to go. I just like all the things this truck had.. i want the heated seats and leather but those are 47k retail trucks.

I just bought the 06 slt bighorn in my sig loaded for under 32K. That is over 12k below sticker price (basically employee pricing). Find an 06, there is still a lot of them left.

Did 05's have the 70 mph driveline vibration like the 04.5's had?
Maybe that's what he's feeling. Don't think there's a cure for that.
I agree with buzzard1, it's probably up for sale since the warranty's expired.

Why not buy an 04.5 which would still have the 7 year 70,000 mile warranty in place? Same body style and real peace of mind.
