Help with LEDs

I just tried to replace the bulbs in my front signal lights with LEDs and when I hit the signal switch all of the running/clearance lights on the truck flash. Is there something else that I need to add?

I'm not real sure about trucks, but I know on my bike I needed to add an equalizer to help with the minimal amp draw of the LEDs. I'm sure you could come up with something after doing some searching.

I am having this problem with my 2003 3500. Also the "lamp out" light has been on since I bought the truck last October, but all of the lights are working.

The Front Control Module (FCM), monitors the current flowing through the stop and turn signal circuits to operate the lamp out feature. If you change to LED there is a insufficient current flow to register that bulb is working ( i.e. closed circuit ) and hence your behavior. Attached is a document that describes a couple of solutions. Probably something in these forums as far as attaching a resistor in parallel at each fixture.

Why not get LED turn signal lights that match, or at least close to, the wattage of original 3057 bulbs ( 25W ) ? Then there shouldn't be any need for resistors. A search for "25W LED turn signal 3057" reveals several hits including one below. These are probably crazy bright, but who doesn't want to be noticed when they are turning. In the ever escalating race to blind one another, this is probably a good idea. Hope somebody posts their opinion if they try.

Anyone tried the 25 watt LED's from Amazon or something similar that doesn't require rediculous splicing of resistors for every fixture?
