Help! How to replace OHC map lights
My 2005 CTD has been great in lots of ways Electrical ain't one of them. How do I get to the light bulbs to replace on the OHC map light? I am afraid I am going to break the lens trying to pop it out. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help

Hope this helps! Even if you took the whole thing down from the headliner, I don't think you can get to them from the back!? I'll post that too, just in case!
READING/COURTESY LAMP REPLACEMENT
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the reading/courtesy lamp lens. Using a trim stick, gently pry the forward edge of the reading/courtesy lamp lens outward.
Remove the reading/courtesy lamp socket from the overhead console. Rotate the reading/courtesy lamp socket one quarter turn counter clockwise.
Remove the lamp and socket assembly.
Reverse the above procedure to install.
OVERHEAD CONSOLE REMOVAL
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the overhead console retaining screws, located in the sunglass storage bin.
Using your fingertips, grasp the sides of the overhead console and pull straight down evenly to disengage the two snap clips at the front of the unit.
Lower the overhead console far enough to access the wire harness connectors.
Disconnect the Electronic Overhead Module and the reading/courtesy lamps electrical connectors.
Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.

Great! Thanks for the help
Quick and didn't charge a dime! Altho' I am wondering where you got those instructions. Sounds professional. Seems like I am always coming up with some question that isn't in the manual.
Thanks Again
