Heater cord question

On the boot end is the male terminal supposed to fold back under the neck of the boot or is it supposed to be straight out and the bent it during production by accident? It looks like it'd hit the nut as I tightened it, which is probably okay since it's the ground terminal.

Also are the holes in the frame obvious? I got it with out the clips, so I'll be using zipties.

It is supposed to be straight. It should look like a two pin connector with a locking nut.

The holes on the frame rail are pretty obvious. They run along the inside of the passengers side frame rail. There are 2-3 holes spaced about 1 foot apart. I did the same thing and zip tied them and then ran it out to the tow hook so it doesn't interfere with the Mopar winter front I have.

Hope that helps.
