Sounds like one or more of your HVAC doors are broken. Many many many many problems with those stupid doors!! Do a search when you have hundreds of hours of time to kill!

You should have good heat in 10-20 miles, depending on how hard the engine is worked, obviously. Definitely should have been warm with a two hour drive.
Sounds like you might have a broken blend door. The blend door manages the temperature of the HVAC system. I just did a write-up about replacing broken doors last week. It shouldn't be too many pages back.
Now, there were some guys who were installing heater core by-pass valves in the heater lines to make the A/C more efficient. Might want to check under the hood, on the passenger side of the engine. There is a rubber hose coming up out of the engine block that turns rearward and enters the firewall. If so, the valve would be located in this area. Just need to open it to let warm coolant flow through the heater core.

Or, not to be the bearer of bad news, that is also a sign of the water pump failing.
Check your coolant level also.
Are you feeling no heat at all, like, the cab is still frigid, or are you just not feeling any air moving?

If you are getting no heat at all, check the heater core lines, as was stated above, and check your coolant level.
