Headlights acting WEIRD

Yesterday I pulled in a buddy's drive way and noticed my dash lights were on but the switch was off. I got out and the parking lights and cab lights were on. Got back in the truck turned them on then off and they were still on. I turned the headlights and fogs on then off, now the headlights, cab lights, and parking lights are on. Anyway I get them to go off and go inside. His mother walks in and asked if my headlights go off automatically. I look outside and all lights are on. I do a series of random turning, pulling, and pushing on the switch and they go off. Everything was fine the rest of the day. Tonight it did the same thing. Turn my lights off and they stay on. Finally get them to go off. Also tonight I unlocked the truck with the key fob and all lights come on. I get home, go to turn them off and same situation occurs. Anyone got an idea of what's wrong? Anyone had this happen before?

Not exactly, I have had it happen to where if you shut the engine down BEOFRE turning the lights off they stay on despite turning the **** off. All you have to do is turn them on, then off again and they will go out.

Another trick is to unplug your batteries for a few minutes. Will reset everything.

The lights are supposed to stay on if you shut the key off before you turn off the lights. They will shut off after a few minutes.
