headach rack lights

I am wanting to put brake lights and back up lights on my headach rack. how should i wire them in, the brake lights i got have 3 wires tail and turn, brake and ground. have not bought the back up ones yet. any ideas thanks

to make life easy, you can but a 7 pin splitter such as used when installing a 5th wheel hitch in the bed, hide it under the truck and wire it that way. would make for easy removal for any maintenance or bed removal without hard wiring and having to cut wires in the future

I wired mine up to a plug like Chris is suggesting, ran it all to the back where the trailer plug harness is. I didn't put backup lights on my headache rack, I put two oval tail lights in, so I just plugged straight into the small 4-pin plug.
