Update.....
So the wheel saga continues...
Wheels were picked up to be repaired, guy said straightening out the lip shouldn't be a problem, if they can't fix...no charge. If they can fix it $100 per wheel, including repolish and redoing the clearcoat. He is also going to check with some machine shops he knows to see if anyone can reliably and safely open up the centers for push through style center caps.
Claiming the insurance, only thing is UPS will reimburse the seller (shipper) and then I will get it through him...

I have the same set of rims on the way. Hopefully mine won't be damaged... My seller shipped them all seperately, in boxes, and I paid the $6.00 additional insurance charge without hesitation. I've got my tires coming too and I am still not 100% sure which rims I will use. Stock chrome clad alloys or these H2s....
I don't know man. You can buy new rims for $100.00 each and then just use one of these for a spare......

Ok so this dang saga still continues....
The local wheel fixer upper dude took the 2 wheels, made an attempt and didn't think he could fix them without the risk of cracking the lip completely off, so I got my damaged H2's back still damaged and he didn't charge me, wouldn't even take a 20 for his time or gas to meet with me both times. Good company I will use them in the future if needed.
The UPS website is useless and the automated directory for the 800 # is equally if not more useless than the website. After spending what seemed like days on the phone to speak with a human being, I got disconnected about a dozen times. Since these wheels cannot be repaired I will collect that shipping insurance.
So do I try and find 2 more 08 H2 wheels or keep looking aftermarket, gettin a bit fed up with this to the point where I might buy back my 97 F350 (the guy that bought it from me can't afford the fuel costs and it's up for sale again)
Thanks for "listening"

Yeah It's looking better and better everyday
I'm currently watching an auction for some Weld Evo Renegades 17x8.5 5.25 backspacing.
Then I need to figure out how to unload 4 H2 wheels, 1 destroyed, 1 still useable, and 2 that are perfect....
Hound
I might just get a new head unit instead of dealing with this wheel disaster. The Kenwood DNX7100 is at the top of the list, but I will probably request your opinion as well as everyone else about component speakers, a sub, enclosure and an amp. That might make me happy

I want some '08 H2's but I want 5 so my spare is a match. Always see them for sale in sets of 4 hardly ever 5. In other words james, if you end up having trouble unloading all 4 wheels at once I'd be interested in buying 1 of the undamaged ones. Been following your wheel saga too - hope the new Welds turn out good for you..
