H2 wheels back from paint

Why is it that the low cost tire shops (usually a chain store) never have any old timers there that understand tires, you know, the old guy (supervisor) that would have walked into the bay and taken one look at a tire with OVER ONE OUNCE of weights in one place and then rant at the installer? Whenever you need that much weight in one area, then it is time to air down the tire, break the bead and rotate the tire 180 degrees. More than one ounce in one area is bad news. It increases the area where rust will form, chips more powdercoat from the installer pounding them on, and worse yet - increases the chance of throwing a balance weight and causing customer complaint/returns!

Well the sun finally came out and warmed up a little today so I did some painting. Told yall a couple post back I laid down a little bondo over the hummer logo, well I finally primed and painted it, I lost track of how many coats I put down but it was a lot, they didn’t turn out as smooth as I wanted but I’m still pleased with them. Still haven’t decided if I’m going to stick with these and figure something out for the rears, or mod my stock caps and go with those on all 4, I’m open for ideas.
Might wash my truck after work tomorow and see what they look like on a clean truck.
