Grille/Brush Guards

I am looking for some input concerning brush guards. I want something that fits with the stock bumper, fits and conforms with the front end and does not weigh 300 lbs. I was looking at the Westin Sportman series. Tell me what you guys are using, pros and cons. Not really interested in chrome or stainless. Just a good looking guard that is functional and compliments the truck. Thanks

The website doesn't give it, at least I didn't see it, but what is the price of that Rancher Grille Guard?

I have the Luverne SS guard with Luverne SS side boards, the truck looks great and the SS does not rust.A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for,no more no less.

I will check out those sites. I had not heard of goindustries, seems they have a pretty good choice of products. Thanks for the info!

Just make sure the brush guard attaches to the frame. Some brush gaurds "clip on" to the bumper. So basically the brush guard is a big heavy ornament with little practical use. Well maybe it would stop a shopping cart....

Check my gallery. A buddy of mine built it from a design I came up with. I like it. It replaces the entire bumper and weighs 38 lbs. heavier than factory - all alluminum. it has taken a moose and a Hyundai. Pics were taken after those two incidents - just wash the blood or paint off.

Thanks for all the input. I went with Go Industies Ranch guard. Picked one up in Aztec, NM on Sat, and installed on Sun. Pretty beefy, yet fairly light weight. I like the expanded metal grille insert, it protects the radiator (condenser, ect.) while still allowing good airflow. Thanks again.
