Got Egg? I do, on my truck.
Woke up the other morning 35 degrees out, so I scraped (De-iced) my neighbors car windows while I was warming up Keisel the Diesel (Nickname, check Steeler DE), anyways I noticed she had been egged so I helped her clean it up a bit. I thought nothing of it because ol' red (Check sig) was clean...Well as the sun came up I noticed Keisel had been egged, one solo shot to the LR Quarter panel, cleaned her up. (Do not soap up and wash by hand at 35 degrees) I noticed yesterday that where she got hit was a spiral of hair thin scratches, it looked like the rings of a tree when you cut it down.
What is it with people? Are they that pathetic?
I had ol' red for 2 weeks when we went camping in Morro Bay, on the trip home on a back country road cut through the hillsides (Too narrow to turn around) Some teens in a passing car threw a can of vegetables at it. It hit just above the driver headlight, new hood was needed. I was going between 30-35mph while they were going the same in the opposite direction, what if it hit had hit my windshield?
Sorry for the vent, I'm just grrrrr!

When I had my 99 4.6l GT it got egged, fortunately it was silver so the scratches were nearly invisible. I have never egged a car, and I can't recall any of my friends ever even mentioning doing it.

Sorry to hear about such crap, especially at this time of year steelblitz. Rhino- it's good to hear from young citizens like you! My oldest son is 21. He works for a living, went to college, and bought and paid for my 03CTD. There are young people in this world who are responsible. Unfortunately there are more and more parents who are not, and unfortunately their offspring egg trucks, and a lot worse.

I was driving a company Cadallic back in 93.A new Sedan Deville. Was on two lane roads at like midnight doing 65 mph.On coming car swerved briefly and WHAM like I had been gunshot.Hit the windshield and top of roof line at the windshield.I locked it down not knowing what had happened.Thought I hit a deer or? I had been hit with eggs. The auto going the other way was GONE of course.Made it home in less then 10 minutes, hosed the Caddy down asap and used dish washing soad on it and hosed some more.Next day in the sun I saw where it had etched the windshield, left spiral hairline cracks at the roofline etc. The lucky thing was it did not break the glass or that I did not wreck. It was a heck of a hit coming at the speed I was driving and the other auto going the opposite way.

I should have waited until they were going to do it and then called the cops.
