good news bad news

The good news is: my fuel mileage is consistently 19-22 mpg even after removing the edge, the bad news is I still don't have a fix for the no lock-out overdrive in the 05, I cant justify trading out after reading some of the other posts on fuel mileage. so somebody please help me figure out how to keep this @$^% from going into o/d

If at SPEED you can pull shifter D2 and it will stay in third.if you slow down to much of course it will downshift to 2nd but if at 55 etc.it will stay in 3rd.
