Question Getting code P02509 and P0500

2007 5.9 with an automatic, these codes showed up after the speedometer quit working and the ABS,brake and check engine lights are on.
I changed the speed sensor on the transmission and it didn't help. Any ideas?

A friend of mine had the exact same issue(I just posted on here a few days ago about it).

He finally took it to the dealer and they said that there was a loose wire harness going into the PDC...power distribution center/ fuse box. I never actually looked at the truck but he said that he checked all of the harnesses, and they were tight...who knows,

Its worth checking into though.
