I don't know what the exhange rate is, what your taxes are, or what type of gauges you are putting in. So, hard to compare. But, for the most part guys can get a set of gauges and the pillar for about $400 for the trans, egt, and boost and a pillar mount. Install varies, and I have seen anywhere from $50-75 a guage. Grand total high end is $625, low end about $550.

It does for FP, trans temp and EGT. Rail press, boost and coolant temp it gets from wire taps into the factory sensor wiring.

Trans temp $223
EGT $226
Triple A pillar gauge pod $50
$40 an hour, and probally 4-6 hours install time.

Total is $933 (Canadian) including taxes.

Does anyone think that is a ridiculously high price?
Fill in your signature so we know what you have.

I would just get an Edge Juice with attitude..

Dont forget he is quoting Canadian dollars. Convert to US and it's probablly right in line with what we would pay here. But then again I did pay $46 for breakfast at a Perkins in Niagra Falls!!!! (just the wife and I)

My Dipricols with A pillar mount cost me 450 US, paid $50 CDN at the border, with the dollar the way it is now it would cost you 525 for everything, you'd save over $400 CDN doing it yourself. I think 4 - 6 hours labour is a little much for them. I took way longer but I'm not doing it every day either and am not a 'mechanic'.

You also don't say what kind of gauges the estimate was for, as in what make..

Yes the exchange at the border is good, commerce has not adjusted their prices in the stores, and I doubt they will.

Lol...try and even find a trans temp gauge that costs that much! I've never seen one that cost as much as a pyro. Trans temp gauges are usually about the same price as the boost gauge.
