Gauge/Dash Flash

For the last three weeks or so I've experienced quite a few times when my dash will "flash" and then everything goes back to normal, except that my mpg will drop on the overhead from 20 or so down to below 16. It's happened two or three times in a row on a few separate occasions. Anyone else, or anyone else that has had a dealer look at this problem? I'm wondering how common this is. It usually happens in the morning when it's cool. I say cool because I live in Southern California and it rarely gets anywhere near freezing temps. I have been to the dealer for the 006 flash by the way. The truck has about 18k on it currently.

I have experienced the same thing. Its always when cold in the morning and if your looking away or blink you will miss it! I haven't had time to look into it but will probably check out tsb's at work tommorrow. If they stay on I will get worried.
