Fuel Gage Problem

Is anyone having any problems with their fuel gage? I can fuel up and it may take 15- 30 minutes for it register. I know the 2nd gen trucks had a problem with fuel sending units. I don't know if there was anything done on 3rd gen trucks to rectify this problem. I called my dealer and explained the problem to them and they said it was normal. It did not happen when the truck was new, so how can it be normal?
By the way, I have 18000 miles on it and loving it, except for a few minor problems. Suspension sqeaks like a 100000 mile truck. I have tried silicon spray on the bushings and this worked for a while.

Mine stuck on one fill up, but I did not pay it no mind. Just got in and blew smoke The next fill up, it was normal, not sure what caused it. I have 63000 on my truck and not a squeak from the suspension. I do spray WD-40 inside the wheel wells, to make it look pretty, but it might be helping it to stay quite.

What the dealer told me was that if the cap is not on exactly right then the gauge doesnt read 10O%.As for the squeak take it in my 2500 had that same squeak after about 4 miles. The bushing in the rear shackle that ties to the frame had wadded up inside the shackle. Lubeing it up would help for a liitle while. Was covered under warranty.

Mine did it for the first time yesterday. It has always jumped to past full after filling up. I had about 1/2 a tank, filled it up, and it took it 5 minutes for the gauge to register and overhead to keep increasing as the gauge changed.

That's exactly what mine does.
