Heavy duty front springs?

Have any of you guys changed out the stock 2500 springs for a heavier set? I don't want to increase the ride height, just get a stiffer front spring.

I'm wondering if the snow plow option springs are much different or are some aftermarket ones available that won't lift it.

Thanks

My truck has the factory snow plow springs. It sits very close to level with the stock suspension.

Timbrens would be my choice also. My father in law had the snow plow package on his 03, can't remember the numbers on the spring tag, but I believe the drivers side was 988####AA, passenger side 987####AA.

His truck rode very rough compared to mine, I have 986####AA / 985####AA. There is a white plastic tag wrapped around one of the coils on each front spring, that will tell you what you currently have. Drivers side is usually a higher #, to make up for the weight of the fuel tank.

Someone will probably chime in with the correct/complete #s, but with Timbrens you can retain your stock ride.
