Front Skid plate.
What the heck does a front skid plate on a Ram look like? I was at the dealership and took a peek underneath a few that had the snow plow prep and I didn't see squat for a front skid plate. Looked identical to the other Rams without the Snow Plow group. Maybe it's just a metal bar or something, but I sure couldn't find it. Anyone got a pic of one or know where it's located on the front, if it's just a small bar or something?
TIA..

Re:Front Skid plate.
Apparently it is a metal plate covering just the transfer case. I really want to get a set to cover the front axle and the transfer case, but I don't think a front one exists for us yet. They make one for the 1500's, but I haven't seen any that fit the 2500 and 3500's. Maybe someone has more information they can provide.

Check the 4x4 and off road places.
There are really only two styles of front axle skid plates
Truss with skid plate
I'm not too worried about needing to bolster the axle on a 3/4 ton and up so maybe thats why they are out for the 1500's.
A second style of skid plate
I can make one of these. Just use a sheet metal brake and the good old MIG welder. Except mine would look better and have round tubing halves which clamp together inplace of the square where it attaches to the axle tube.
