FP Gauge noisey
I installed my FP gauge about 3 weeks ago and it keeps on get louder and louder w/ the rattling. How do I get rid of this? I added a needle valve and it didnt help. I also dont have a isolator installed, would this help? And the thing too, is sometimes it barely rattles and some times it gets so loud I can hear it w/ the windows down and radio up. Any suggestions please?

Do a search in the forums, using the words:
Fuel Pressure
FP
Gauge
rattling
rattle
noise
you get the idea. There's plenty of suggestions on how to alleviate the problem. I had a problem a while back with my setup (using an isolator) getting pretty noisy and the needle bouncing a bit. I just disconnected the line from the top of the CP3, let the fuel drain out (into an approved container of course:-) and then reconnected it. The noise and the bouncing are gone.
BTW - if you do put an isolator into your solution, don't mount it to the firewall - sometimes the noise will resonate through the firewall metal and into the cab. I actually mounted mine to the bottom of the battery tray. It's plastic, and it doesn't transfer the sound or vibrations to the rest of the vehicle.
