I just got this mod done tonight and all I can say is WOW!!! The fogs really fill in that dark spot in front of the truck when running high beams. Really simple to do as well. I wonder what the starscan tool CAN'T do??? Is there a list anywhere of what options are available with the starscan? I know there is alot that the techs and dealers haven't told us about, such as this one, fast idle on manual, ....etc....!

OK is there a LIST ANYWHERE on what functions the starscan tool can do on the 07.5 and up trucks?????????

bingo... illegal in the states, dont ask me why, to have the fogs on with the high beams.

You just have to know the right tech. In WV you can have 8 lights on your vehicle but only 4 at one time can be on. Up to 4 headlamps, 2 fog lamps, a driving lamp, and a passing lamp. Law came from back in the 30's when cars were so equipped. Since our trucks only have 2 headlamps and two fog lamps you can run all 4 all the time! Makes a big difference on dark country roads where deer abound. and I do mean abound, right onto your hood, windshield, door or anything else they can jump on from the roadbank.

Yeah, your WV law is pretty much the same as here in CO but the tech at one dealership told me it was a FEDERAL law and they wouldn't do it SO I guess it's 'find another dealer time' for me. Another thing that they can change, I think, is the minimum speed for the cruise to work but they won't do that either ... the dummies!
