And the second is, what is that bumper thingie in last post? That thing belong on a truck?

I may have to redo my sig too include cattle guard front bumpers.
Well, I bought two foglights off ebay for $75.00 plus shipping. An extra two will be ordered after X-mas. The dealer wanted $175.00 for one OEM foglight and $225.00 for two.

Yep, that's what will be going on the '07 when I take delivery - on order currently. These factory bumpers are crap for the drivers we got around here - although I've never been in a collision deemed my fault (knock on wood), I won't lose the truck for repair from some yuppies stupidity of talking on the phone instead of paying attention - besides, everywhere I go out of town has critters all over - I do alot of night driving.

After much discussion with my welder, it would have been really difficult to re-fit this one

from my '98. So, I stumbled across the one in the previous post and it was a good deal, so, I bought it. 3/8ths aluminum construction - that black stuff is just shipping wrap. Pics to come when truck is ready to hit the road. I'm just waiting for it right now.

I do understand the thinking behind adding a beefed up section of gate to the front of a rig. Very functional but lacks a bit in the looks department.

If you want a bumper to fend off the yuppies, take a look at the old Dodge off of Simon & Simon. Worked good back then.

It's not finsished yet for the first comment.

For the second: that was then, and this is now. As the saying goes, opinions are like backsides, everybody's got one.
