one of the best looking flatbeds around is made by Proline. They are a small company in central oregon that does bes and bumpers. I know it is a ways but they look great!!!!
My Dad has one on his 04 longbed and I have one on my 99. We are going to copy his and mine for my new 08 as soon as I get the time.

Bradford beds has distributors/installers all over the country, try contacting them. I have a Bradford on my Ford Dually, very nice steel bed, very functional.

I like these Pronghorn truck beds. No personal experience with them, but there are nice looking. I'm not sure where B-G Industries are located. http://www.b-gindustries.com/flatbed...tool_boxes.htm

IMHO, flatbeds look cool even if they aren't on duallies.
ripping r, why are you only considering steel beds? cost? I'm thinking of getting an Aluminum bed, lot's lighter and it'll carry more than my truck's payload.

I agree, need to have some meaty tires on there to make a single axle flatbed work. I have always liked how they looked on duallies, but have seen some recently placed on SRW that are slightly lifted with some good tires. they look good.
