Flashing Lights When I Lock Doors w/ Key Fob

Flashing Lights When I Lock Doors w/ Key Fob
OK. I disabled the flashing lights and horn chirp when the truck was new. So, I know it can be done.
Now, I gave my keys to one of my 20 month old boys and the flashing lights on lock and unlock are back (horn chirp still gone). I know the manual says the wrong thing (Key in ignition turned on but not running, hold lock 4+ seconds, hold panic, wait for chime, release). But, I can't find the little yellow sheet that gave me the correct "code" to keep my truck from flashing its lights every time I lock or unlock it.
Help me out, please.

This is out of the owners manual. It works to turn the lights on or off with the remote on mine.
Vehicles will be shipped from the assembly plants with
the park lamp flash feature activated. If desired, this
feature can be disabled by using the following procedure:
1. Enter your vehicle and close all doors.
2. Fasten your seat belt (fastening the seat belt will cancel
any chiming that may confuse you during this programming
procedure).
3. Place the key into the ignition.
4. Turn the ignition to the ON position ( Do not start the
engine ).
5. Press and hold the LOCK button on a programmed
(i.e. functional) key fob.
6. Continue to hold the LOCK button, wait at least 4
seconds, but no longer than 10 seconds, then press and
hold the PANIC button.
7. When a single chime is heard, release both buttons.
8. Turn the ignition to the OFF position or wait 60
seconds.
9. Test the park lamp flash feature by pressing the LOCK
button on the key fob with the ignition in the OFF
position or the key removed.
10. To reactivate this feature, repeat the above steps.
11. If a chime is not heard, program mode was canceled
before the feature could be disabled. If necessary, repeat
the above procedure.

I've got the manual. And, I know the manual had a yellow sheet of paper to "update" it.
As an example, to disable the horn chirp, I know you stand outside the vehicle hold the lock button down, hold the panic button, and then release both to turn off the horn chip. That is not what it says in my manual.
Ugg! The flashing lights anoy me. I don't like extra lights or noses when I don't need them. Stealth is key.

OK. Got it back to where I like them.
Horn Chirp:
While outside truck, hold lock button on key for 4 seconds, then while still holding lock hold panic for a couple of seconds.
Door lock all open:
While outside truck, hold unlock button on key for 4 seconds, then while still holding unlock hold lock for a couple of seconds.
Flash on lock and unlock:
While outside truck, hold lock button on key for 4 seconds, then while still holding lock hold unlock for a couple of seconds.
These steps toggle the option on and off.
