first two MPG - how do my numbers compare?

well i finally got a chance to pull my travel trailer more than 20 miles at a time. i figure with the trailer and gear i'm pulling around 6000 pounds. the trip was around 400 miles round trip and my mileage was 12.3 console and 11.1 hand calculated. the console had me pretty excited and i hoped actually mileage would have been closer to that. i was pulling at 68 MPH.

my truck just turned 4000 miles on the trip and i know probably isn't close to being broke in. how do my numbers compare on other 06's considering the weight of my trailer? straight city driving i have been getting 15.0 - 15.5 consistantly hand calculated. how much of an increase can i expect as my truck breaks in?

my truck was an early build 06 and i recently had the latest PCM flash. my overhead went from reading 1-2 MPG low to now reading .5-1 high. i know others have said the flash has increased their mileage, but i'm wondering if it just changed the overhead?

i love how the truck towed and the cummins didn't even know the trailer was back there. even on the long hills the truck never even thought about slowing down or downshifting.

I pulled my 23 foot ski boat which weighs about 6000 lbs with all the gear and stuff to the lake several weekends in a row. I usually get around 12.5-13 mpg hand calculated running 75 mph with the cruise set. I did tow the boat with the bully dog set on tow/economy with the low torque option and got a whopping 10 mpg. I don't use the low end torque option anymore.
I would say your numbers are about right considering your trailer is(I'm guessing a box) very tall which has more drag than my boat.

Towing 4500lb through 6-7% grades, with less than 4000 miles on it, I'd get ~12.5-13 at 65-75mph.

I have not had the opportunity to tow after the mileage flash in late June. Too bloody hot to fish!
